Meet Dr. Ryan
Dr. Paul Francis Ryan, DACM, L.A.C
Dr. Ryan is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist practicing in New York City and Port Jefferson, New York.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in nutritional science form the Univeristy of Vermont (1994), a master’s degree in acupuncture and manual therapy from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (1999) and a doctorate in integrative medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science (PCHS) (2017).
During his 18 years in China, Dr. Ryan learned from masters of Chinese medicine. As an inner circle apprentice, Dr. Ryan is the most advanced practitioner of Abdominal Acupuncture and Zuo Acupuncture lineages in North America. He shares his knowledge through lectures and courses around the world and as a faculty at the PCHS.
Clinically, Dr. Ryan offers patients effective acupuncture, osteopathy informed manual therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional supplements and dietary and meditation guidance. These are among the most beneficial, non-invasive and sustainable wellness achieving modalities available in medicine.
